Cisco houses one of its Global Development Centre in Bengaluru, which happens to be the largest one outside of the United States. The centre is home to Cisco’s Research and Development (R&D), IT, Services and Customer Support teams. It develops disruptive business models for Cisco to create new go-to-market channels, markets, processes and technologies for emerging markets1.

Cisco’s annual investments in India stood at US$ 1.7 bn in as of 2014 and has generated US$ 1.1 bn for FY 2013-143.
