In support of the Make in India Week, the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion and Qualcomm India, through its venture investment arm, Qualcomm Ventures, today announced India’s largest start-up contest “QPrize™ Make in India” awarding Rs. 2 Crore in investment as prize money for the winning company. The goal of this contest is to catalyse Indian entrepreneurs and start up community to drive the entire value chain from innovation to manufacturing in India.

Shortlisted Companies:

  • Ark Robot - Army of autonomous Robots for smart logistics
  • Cardiac Design Labs - Democratizing advanced cardiac diagnostics: Bringing it to the masses in an affordable way, using intelligent technology.
  • NexGear Technology - NexGear is developing Frodo - an Intelligent Strap-on Adventure Camera which not only captures videos but automatically edits hours of raw footage into short shareable summarized stories
  • TeraFlight Data Labs - TeraFlight, drone data analytics solutions for solar
  • Threye Interactive - Threye - award winning immersive and interactive tech company venturing in AR/VR & robotics and deeply engaged with aerospace and defence.
  • Shortlisted companies will be invited for the final pitch presentation during the grand finale on February 18, 2016
  • Jury will consist of eminent names from the Government, Industry and Qualcomm
